Hello there, time for another update :)

Hello everyone.  Well since the last time I've posted, I have found myself on another adventure.  I take that back.  My husband and I have taken on freelancer jobs working at home.  So far, it has been a lot of fun actually getting to choose what kind of jobs you want to work on.  If you want more info on this, please get in touch with me and I can hook you up.  Don't worry, there is no start up fees so you don't have to worry about losing money before you have the chance to make any.  With freelancing you have to place bids on jobs and I came across a job that I am so excited about.  Writing for a celebrity blog.  Guess all that time of stalking www.people.com has paid off.  I submitted a sample writing today and I hope to hear some good news back.  The topic was writing about 3 top blonde celebrities but I was being extra generous and wrote about 5.  I will try to post the sample here so you can tell me what you think.  Remember, there are two facts that don't help me in getting that accomplished.  First and I'm blonde and the next I am still so new to this blogging.  I'm sure I will click on something by mistake and it will magically appear lol.  Ok so stay tuned and maybe you will get to read my sample.  I'll keep you in suspense until then......

Long Time No Chat

Hello there my faithful followers of two now :)  It has been awhile since I have posted a blog.  What can I say?  Sometimes life just gets a little busy.  Since I have last posted a blog, I have gotten married and become a step mom to a beautiful four year old boy.  Of course you have your rollercoaster days that leave no time for hobbies such as this.  I'm still trying to learn the whole blogger concept also.  Guess it is typical me fashion with trying to take on the world in five minutes.

Speaking of which, I have the idea running circles in my head of having my own cookbook published.  It is something I've wanted to do for awhile and just didn't know how to get started.  But sitting beside my rocking chair is a cookbook publishing kit that just makes my creative juices start running every time I think about it.  This started as just making a cookbook for my sisters and mother for Christmas but why stop there?  I love cooking just as much as I love eating, so putting a cookbook together just sounds like a dream.  Wish me luck.  I have convinced myself this is something I need to do so I am thinking of all the recipes I would love to include.

Today is a sad day in our community and my prayers and thoughts are with the Woods family.  Without going into much detail, it is always sad to lose a young person before their life has really begun.  Makes me want to hold the ones I love and let them know they live in my heart and I would be nothing without them.  It is sometimes hard to understand what God has planned for each of us, but really is a miracle in itself to see how things work out the way they do.  I know for certain God welcomed a new angel into His kingdom yesterday and Cody Woods will always be loved and remembered. 

Thought I would let my readers in on one of all time favorite authors, Karen Kingsbury.  I cannot say enough good things about her books.  She is a Christian fiction writer and her books just have awesome stories and make you feel like you are a part of the storyline.  These are books that you are going to love reading and then you are going to want to share them with your family and friends.  

Yeah It's Friday!!!

Hello there, it's Friday and sure we are all glad for five o'clock.  Ok well maybe I am just a little bit :)  Wow, day one at blogging and I now have one follower.  Thanks Dayva, that was just the motivation I needed.  I am so excited about my new blog if you can't tell already.  Still learning how to put it all together but I'm happy with it so far.  I am working on getting some more ads put on this page where you can print out store and manufacturer coupons.  Just waiting now for some confirmation emails so hopefully I will have some of that available soon.  One website I go to is www.coupons.com.  I make sure to check there at the first of every month for all the new coupons, it is so worth the time to cut them out.  It's also convenient that you can choose which coupons you want.  Please share any links for sales and coupons if you have them.  Also I am going to start another page dedicated to recipes.  I love to cook and would love for us to share our favorites.  Again, take the time to scan my affiliate page.  I will be adding to that as well.  Hope you have a great weekend.  I have some wedding bouquets to make, some cleaning that needs to be done, some family to visit, and about a million other things to do before going back to work Monday morning.   Until then, happy reading.....

Hello there everyone. I have finally joined the blogging world. As you can read in my profile, I love meeting new people so very excited at making this first step. My first intention in creating this blog was getting the word out about my online business but I am also a Christian woman who loves cooking, crafting, and finding ways to save a dollar or two.
